Cadwallader Ltd supports nationwide distribution with backup refrigeration trailers, delivering fast and reliable service across the country. To strengthen their field operations, the company upgraded their MAN TGE maintenance van with a fully customised storage solution.
Using StowPro van racking as the foundation, Cadwallader Ltd created a tailored mobile workshop, adding features and layouts to suit their exact working requirements.
Starting with the Right Foundation

For this project, John selected StowPro’s heavy-duty MAN TGE van racking system as the core structure. Designed specifically for large vans, the system provides:

- Drawer unit on the nearside for tools and components
- Birch plywood worktop for on-site repairs and servicing
- 1500mm high racking system to maximise vertical storage
To further enhance usability, the team added practical accessories, which were mounted on the van side linings above the drawer unit:
- Sealant and caulk tube holder for quick access to consumables
- Aerosol can holder for safe, organised storage
- Large storage pockets for manuals, PPE, and frequently used items
These additions ensure everything has a dedicated place, reducing downtime and improving day-to-day efficiency.
Installation Process
The installation was completed in-house by Dominic, a member of the Cadwallader Ltd engineering team.
From empty van to finished workshop, every stage was carefully documented:
- Preparing the empty load space
- Positioning the van racking and fixing it to the van with the installation brackets.
- Adding specialist holders and storage pockets
- Organising tools and stock
